The algorithm of improvement of the directions’ and specialities’ lists has been represented in the article. Proposed algorithm consists in submission of the training directions and specialities by the occupations that are defined by the work system (National Classifier of Ukraine. Occupational Classification DK 003:2005). These professions reflect social division of labour in Ukraine. Application of Occupational Classification currently in force as a criterion of forming of the training directions’ and specialities’ lists permits to provide peopleware of different economic sectors systematically.
