The matter of the project. The development of new technological schemes of selective mining of diverse minerals in open-cast mining of complex Novo-Dmitrievsky brown coal deposit and technical and economic feasibility study of the use of powerful mining transport equipment for its fulfillment in an open-pit with final depth up to 380 m. The fundamental of the project realization is the new domestic and foreign energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies of opencast mining of thick deep mineral deposits with soft formation.
Basic technical and economic characteristics. This technology provides efficient mining of brown coal of high energetic quality in volumes up to 10 million tons a year. In comparison with performance measures of “Aleksankiyaugol” Complex the following results are to be achieved: deployment of recoverable resource of coal 446.5 million tons against 106.6 million tons; overburden coal ratio 2.3 m3/t against 10.54 m3/t; ash content 17.1% against 26.9%; new workplaces in mining only 1520 people; productivity of labour of one worker 716 t/month against 203.1 t/month.
Sphere of application – coal and metal mining industry.
Maturity level – feasibility report.
