The basic procedure for the analysis of changes in the market environment is estimation of the complex indicator of the competitive status of an enterprise in strategic areas of management. In the research we used the methods of economic analysis, mathematical statistics and forecasting, logical analysis, and others.

Originality. Trends in the market of titanium dioxide and titanium-zirconium materials have been determined and according to them the prerequisites for strategic development of the mining enterprise have been presented.
Practical value. We have analyzed strengths and weaknesses of the subdivision of ZAO “Krymskiy Titan”, “Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant” and its competitiveness at the titanium-zirconium materials market environment.
