This study illustrates that with the parameter of the group velocity dispersion b2 = -25 ps2/km and a chirp parameter equal to C1 = 0.5 or C2 = -0.5 (C1, C2 are the chirp coefficients of the first and the second solitons respectively) an additional periodic compression is obtained. Later, we gradually decrease the GVD until its nullification; here we find a regular compression instead of the periodic one.
