The concept of valorization is specified, the concept of geoecological valorization is introduced, basic principles are defined and the mechanism of geoecological valorization, which is examined as correlation of functions of planning, organization, motivation and control on the part of public organs of power and on the part of enterprises, is analysed. The functions of geoecological valorization are considered.
