The design procedure of the rigidity of spring elements of two-stage spring shock-absorber for mining cars is presented. The calculation scheme, taking into account step-by-step contact of two-stage shock-absorber springs, has been developed. The gap between the springs eliminates only when mine car is filled with material. The influence of such factors, as the mass ratio of loaded and empty main car and the height of rail joint on the ratio of rigidity values for springs of the first and the second stages have been shown.
