The problem of adaption of respirators, produced in Ukraine, to new European standards has been considered. The main differences in test procedures between the GOST 12.4.041-89 and EN 149:2003 have been found out. Process of manufacturing of filter material has been described. The analysis of design features of respirators “Lepestok” has been carried out. The main defects of an existing design have been defined and the way of improvement of protective efficiency has been offered after nev test procedures.
