Annotation:
Mining and road conditions of exploitation of dump trucks in open pits in CIS countries were analyzed. Size parameters and the normative and legislative documents concerning the conditions of operation, purpose and scope of mining dump trucks were considered. The results of these studies prove belonging of dump trucks to the fourth class of mining machinery – namely, transport machine.
