Technical requirements produced to pipe junctions meant for hard usage (deep-sea, variable horizontal and vertical load, corrosion, large diameters of pipes) have been substantiated. About 1200 domestic and foreign patents have been analyzed for the purpose of detection of appropriate constructions of pipe junctions. As a result research a few kinds of pipe junctions responding to the set conditions have been found.
