Annotation:
The theoretical backgrounds for choosing the economic criterion of electric energy expenses optimization in ore preparation processes are considered. Attention is given to the correlation between the parameters of the ore flow and the amount of electricity consumed in ore preparation processes. The economic criterion for energy conservation strategy in the company, which operates in conditions of multi-zone electricity tariff, is developed. The prospects of using of this criterion are outlined.
