Residual soils of precambrian formations of northern slope of Serednoprydniprovskyi megablock of the Ukrainian Shield
Authors: V.V. Omelchenko, P.G. Pigulevskyi
The article generalizes data about residual soils of Precambrian formations opened mainly by coal and petroleum-gas boreholes within northern slope of the Ukrainian shield and onboard zone of Dnipro-Donetsk graben. The basic characteristics of residual soils – zonality, capacity, morphological types, presence of collectors for hydrocarbons, geological and tectonic factors are considered. The article inverts attention to the complex approach for allocation of these geological formations.
