For mining breeds, possessing natural by plenty of cracks and sectional structure, formed by the systems different the oriented cracks characteristically destruction as a result of development of the most vulnerable cracks which easily arise up under the conditions. A task is inprocess examined about the maximum equilibrium of plate with a macroscopic crack. Material of plate submits to the law of Hooke up to the moment of destruction. As a result of analysis of the tense state in the top of crack set to dependence: maximum squeezing tensions from the coefficient of internal friction and orientation of the squeezing loading in relation to an initial crack; corner determining direction of development of initial crack, from the coefficient of internal friction of material; orientations of the most vulnerable crack from the terms of contact of banks of crack.
