New conceptual approach to mine workings stability maintenance

Annotation:
A new solution for maintenance of development workings stability by means of artificial changes in the stress field by compressing rock edge zone during nonexplosive self-expansion of destructive materials is proposed and its fundamental features are substantiated. To obtain the qualitative characteristics of the method and rationale of its parameters, detailed studies aimed at studying the peculiarities of method implementation depending on the geological conditions of its application.
