Annotation:
At the present stage of development of Ukraine, energy independence of the country can be ensured by growth of coal mining and nuclear electricity production. Solving problem of coal production in the deep horizons of the Donets Basin authors have substantiated possible methods and means of normalizing the thermal conditions of excavation work in rocks with natural temperature of 40–70. Authors have analyzed possible ways of rocks cooling acceleration around mine workings. An engineering method for calculating of parameters of the heat equalizing cover of mine workings has been developed and the estimation of specific heat penetration in principal types of rock in deep mines of Donbass has been hold.
