Annotation:

The article analyzes the basic foundations of the coal industry and identifies the need to update them. Nature of the updating process of the active part of the fixed assets of coal mines is defined. Investment in basic capital of Ukrainian enterprises on financing sources is analyzed. The sources of renewal are classified and the most acceptable of them are determined. Leasing is considered the most promising form of leverage resources for the update. Development of leasing in Europe and its application at Ukrainian enterprises are considered.
