The article considers resources of naturally rich deep iron ore in the Krivoy Rog basin. The methods of mining of deposit by means of vertical skip-cage and inclined conveyer shafts is analysed. It is investigated the charts of building of horizons of the second stage of opening for different terms, taking into account possible intensity of works. It is analysed the use of various schemes of construction of horizons of the second stage of opening, depending on the number of points of application of works.
