Direct method of determination of coefficient of friction of a conveyor belt against a barrel is substantiated. The method does not have methodic errors. The method will contribute to scientific understanding of mechanism of pulling pressure transmission to flexible hauling organ, flexible bodies friction theory improvement, theory and practice of freight hauling by means of flexible hauling organ.
